Tesla launches car wrap services from $7,500 in the United States

Tesla has recently expanded its range of customization options for the 2023 Model Y and Model 3 electric vehicles in the United States. This expansion introduces exclusive factory color wraps, offering customers a way to personalize their vehicles.

Available in seven premium color options, such as Satin Stealth Black, Glacier Blue, Satin Rose Gold, Slip Grey, Forest Green, Satin Ceramic White, and Crimson Red, prices for these color wraps start at $7,500. Crafted from a self-healing urethane-based film, these wraps offer exceptional quality and durability.

In addition to enhancing the appearance of the vehicle, they serve a protective purpose by safeguarding the car’s paint against potential damage such as chips, scratches, and swirling. The installation process for these wraps is comprehensive, covering all color options except Clear Wraps.

Tesla has estimated that the installation process will take approximately five to seven business days from the moment the vehicle is delivered to one of their service centers. It’s essential to note that during this installation period, Tesla will not provide loaner vehicles.

Presently, only two Tesla Service Centers are equipped to handle these color wrap installations, located in West Covina, CA, and Carlsbad, CA. The purchase prices for the color wraps are all-inclusive, covering both the materials and installation.

To access this service, Tesla owners must ensure they are using the Tesla app version 4.23.0 or a newer version. For those in need of additional information or support regarding the vehicle wraps, Tesla has introduced a dedicated “Vehicle Wraps Support Page.”
