Hennessey debuts awe-inspiring Venom F5 Revolution Roadster, a top-tier hypercar with 1,817 horsepower

Hennessey has introduced their latest hypercar sensation, the Venom F5 Revolution Roadster, showcasing an incredible 1,817 horsepower beneath its hood. This convertible hypercar sets itself apart as an exceptional feat of engineering rather than a standard contender.

The production strategy is both ambitious and exclusive, with a mere dozen of these extraordinary vehicles slated for fabrication. Despite the substantial $3 million price tag associated with this epitome of automotive ingenuity, all production slots have been rapidly claimed.

Anticipation builds as the official debut of the Venom F5 Revolution Roadster draws near. The grand unveiling is scheduled for the eagerly awaited 2023 Monterey Car Week. Enthusiasts can look forward to its inaugural appearance at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering, on August 18th. Attendees will have the chance to admire the car in its full magnificence, with an option for a distinctive exposed carbon finish, limited to a mere five units.

The Revolution iteration of the Venom F5 Roadster builds upon the impressive foundation established by its forerunner, incorporating strategic enhancements to amplify its performance, particularly on the race track. Key advancements encompass heightened downforce, reduced weight, and an innovative integrated roof scoop designed to efficiently direct crucial airflow to the engine.

Converting the open-top Venom F5 Revolution into a track-focused dynamo necessitated substantial modifications. While the exact nature of these adjustments remains undisclosed, the roof itself consists of an 18-pound lightweight carbon-fiber component secured to the car via quick-release bolts and latches.

Though specific performance metrics remain undisclosed, Hennessey has alluded to the fact that the top speed of the Venom F5 Revolution coupe will marginally fall short of 300 mph. This can be attributed to elevated aerodynamic attributes, including a prominent rear wing that generates indispensable downforce but unavoidably contributes to increased drag.

Propelling the Venom F5 Revolution is a custom-built twin-turbocharged 6.6-liter V-8 engine, an in-house creation by Hennessey. This powerhouse is centrally positioned within the vehicle and channels its substantial output through a rear-wheel-drive system paired with an automated manual transmission.
