Lexus LX, GX offroad builds set for SEMA 2023 showcase

At the SEMA 2023 event, Lexus showcased three customized off-road designs, drawing inspiration from rugged terrains. These vehicles feature a range of exclusive add-ons sourced from the company’s Associated Accessory Product (AAP) program.

Furthermore, in a nod to the debut of their newest model, Lexus proudly presented a comprehensive collection of six vehicles, encompassing every iteration of the Lexus GX.

2022 Lexus GX 460 Premium AAP Build

The 2022 Lexus GX 460 Premium effortlessly embodies a dual nature, boasting a rugged and durable exterior combined with the luxury and refinement that Lexus is known for on the interior. Its impressive power is derived from a 4.6-liter V8 engine, delivering 301 horsepower and a torque of 329 lb.-ft.

This GX model is uniquely presented with a custom Matte Yellow Saffron body wrap and is equipped with 34-inch Toyo Open Country A/T tires mounted on 18-inch wheels. To enhance its off-road capabilities, it features CBI Offroad rock sliders and a full skid plate, ensuring its readiness for challenging terrains.

For those seeking an off-the-grid overlanding adventure, the vehicle is equipped with a Kammok Outpost Overland Hammock Stand, securely affixed to a Prinsu Roof Rack that carries a 10-foot Kammok Roo Double Hammock. Additionally, a 63-quart ARB Elements Weatherproof Fridge Freezer is available to store essential supplies, facilitated by an ARB Fridge Slide and Goose Gear Rear Plate System for secure storage.

Other practical accessories include an ARB 12V Portable Air Compressor, a Weekender Recovery Kit, and TRED Pro recovery boards. Furthermore, a Prinsu Rear Window Accessory Panel on the passenger side offers optimal equipment storage solutions.

2022 Lexus LX 600 Premium AAP Build

The 2022 Lexus LX 600 Premium AAP Build embraces an outdoor lifestyle, making it the perfect choice for a weekend getaway by the lake. This particular LX 600 model showcases a striking custom Aquamarine body wrap.

It also features an optional appearance package, which includes a matte gray grille, black chrome window trim, black door handles and outside mirrors, black chrome bumper trim, dark gray roof rails, and 18-inch matte gray alloy wheels for a distinctive look.

Under the hood, the LX 600 is powered by a high-output 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbo gasoline engine, delivering both power and torque. With 33-inch Toyo Open Country A/T tires and 18-inch wheels, the LX 600 is well-prepared for off-road adventures.

It comes equipped with advanced off-road technology, such as Multi-Terrain Select, Multi-Terrain Monitor, Crawl Control, and Downhill Assist Control, making it a formidable contender in the off-road community.

To enhance the outdoor experience, this LX 600 is fitted with a convenient Kammok Crosswing Car Awning, which can be quickly deployed to provide shelter from the sun and rain. Additionally, a Yakima EXO OpenRange Deluxe camp kitchen bundle simplifies meal preparation, and a Yakima EXO SwingBase is installed on the hitch to securely transport the kitchen.

Completing the LX 600’s outdoor setup is a Yakima SupDawg rooftop stand-up paddleboard and surfboard mount, elegantly placed on a Prinsu Roof Rack, adding both style and functionality to the vehicle.

2024 Lexus GX 550 Overtrail+ AAP Build

Introducing the all-new 2024 Lexus GX 550 Overtrail+ AAP Build, showcasing a unique bi-tone exterior color combination of Earth and Black, a first for Lexus. This third-generation GX model boasts a powerful and efficient twin-turbocharged 3.4L V6 engine, coupled with a 10-speed Direct Shift Automatic Transmission.

With an upgraded output of 349 horsepower, surpassing the previous generation’s V8, and an impressive torque of 479 lb.-ft, the GX 550 Overtrail+ delivers exceptional performance.

The GX 550 Overtrail+ comes equipped with standard 33-inch Toyo Open Country A/T tires and 18-inch wheels, enhanced by black accented overfenders, an aluminum skid plate, and all-weather floor liners, ensuring durability and functionality.

Incorporating a range of Lexus Associated Accessory Products, this GX model features Genuine Lexus-badged rock rails along the sides, complemented by Genuine Lexus black badging throughout the exterior, and a convenient Genuine Lexus on-board tire compressor.

To prioritize storage capabilities, the vehicle is outfitted with a Prinsu Roof Rack, along with Pelican™ BX90R Cargo Case, BX55S Cargo Case, and Prinsu Rear Window Accessory Panels positioned on the rear windows. Additionally, a Prinsu Ladder is installed to facilitate easy access to the roof.

For comprehensive off-road recovery readiness, the package includes rotoPax two-gallon containers, a DMOS Delta Shovel, and ARB TRED Pro recovery boards.
