Tesla’s Cybertruck delivery event: Select shareholders chosen via lottery for attendance

Tesla has initiated a shareholder lottery for its Cybertruck Delivery Event, set to take place at Gigafactory Texas on Nov. 30, limiting the number of attendees due to capacity constraints, the company announced.

In an effort to ensure fairness, Tesla has set specific criteria for shareholders to be eligible, including owning active shares as of September 30, 2023, and submitting their applications before the November 3 deadline, with selections to be revealed the following week.

While emphasizing the non-transferability of invitations, Tesla cautioned that any attempts to do so would render the invitation void and revoked, as stated on their website.

During the recent third quarter earnings call, Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, expressed the company’s expectation that the Cybertruck would become a substantial positive cash flow contributor within a year to 18 months of initial deliveries, without specifying the vehicle’s price range.
