The first pictures of the new Jaguar Project 7 have surfaced online, ahead of the car’s debut at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
Here’s a quick refresher on the previous Jaguar Project 7: A 5.0-liter supercharged V-8 petrol engine is the power behind the Jaguar Project 7, delivering 550 horsepower backed by an 8-speed ZF transmission with “Quickshift” technology. Those features help the new Project 7 reach 60 mph from a standstill in an estimated 4.1 seconds and achieve an estimated top speed of 186 mph.
The new Project 7 will be unveiled at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed on June 26-29, so stay tuned for full details.
Update: A 5.0-liter V-8 engine will be the power behind the Jaguar F-TYPE Project 7, delivering 567 horsepower backed by an 8-speed automatic transmission. Those features help the F-TYPE Project 7 reach 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. Production will be limited to 250 units.
