Lexus RC Ends Production with 2025 Model Year and Special RC F Edition

Lexus has unveiled the Final Edition trims of the RC and RC F, marking the conclusion of production for these sleek coupes. With manufacturing set to wrap up in November, this serves as a last opportunity to acquire these distinctive models before they are officially retired.

Debuting in 2013, the RC has been a fixture in Lexus’s lineup for over a decade. As the 2025 model year signals its farewell, only subtle refinements were added to highlight its swan song.

Exclusive to the U.S. market, the RC F Final Edition starts at $95,175 and prioritizes both performance and rarity. This high-performance coupe caps off its legacy with a focus on power and bespoke styling.

Paint options for the RC F Final Edition include Incognito, Radiant Red, Sonic Iridium, and Ultra White. It features 19-inch BBS wheels, red Brembo brakes, and carbon-fiber elements like the spoiler and roof. Powered by a 472-hp 5.0-liter V-8 paired with an 8-speed automatic, it sprints to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds, reaching a top speed of 168 mph.

Smaller updates extend to other RC models, such as swapping orange brake calipers for red on rear-wheel-drive F Sport variants. Otherwise, the lineup carries forward with minimal changes.

Starting at $47,620, the RC 300 comes with a 241-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine and rear-wheel drive. Opting for all-wheel drive upgrades to a 260-hp 3.5-liter V-6. The RC 350, priced from $50,550, uses the same V-6 but delivers 311 hp, regardless of drivetrain.

Set to arrive in dealerships early next year, the 2025 RC lineup closes a significant chapter for Lexus. With only 1,854 RCs sold in 2024, the model’s future appears unclear, and no successor has been announced.
