BMW has elevated its M3 Touring with the debut of the M3 CS Touring, revealed at Mount Panorama during the Bathurst 12 Hour weekend. This limited-edition model brings track-ready performance to the wagon, mirroring the M3 CS sedan’s aggressive enhancements, making it a must-see for enthusiasts.
A potent 543-hp, twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-6 powers the M3 CS Touring, delivering exhilarating acceleration and performance. The engine’s boosted power over the standard M3 Competition ensures a thrilling driving experience, with responsive power delivery across a wide range.
Equipped with an 8-speed automatic and rear-biased all-wheel drive, the M3 CS Touring rockets from 0-62 mph in 3.5 seconds. With a top speed of 186 mph and blistering mid-range times, this wagon delivers sports car performance wrapped in practical utility, proving that functionality doesn’t have to compromise thrills.
Weight-saving measures like carbon-ceramic brakes, a titanium exhaust, and extensive use of carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic make this M3 even more capable. Track-tuned suspension, steering, and braking systems ensure dynamic control, while lightweight alloy wheels further enhance agility for an unforgettable driving experience.
Although the M3 CS Touring won’t reach U.S. shores, it will be available in other markets, with deliveries set for March. BMW enthusiasts can look forward to the new-generation M3’s arrival by 2027, though the M3 CS Touring will be one of the last iterations of the current lineup.
