Ford’s 2025 Maverick Lobo revives the street truck appeal, offering a refreshed take on urban performance. With a lowered suspension and revised springs and dampers, this truck sits half an inch lower in the front and 1.1 inches at the rear. It delivers a smooth on-road ride while maintaining the rugged presence of a street-oriented pickup.
Braking power comes from upgraded dual-piston front calipers sourced from the Focus ST. These are paired with black 19-inch wheels that give the Lobo an aggressive stance. Ford opts for a black roof and body-colored rocker panels and rear bumper, reinforcing its street-focused aesthetic.

Instead of adding more power, Ford calls the Lobo a “canvas” for street truck enthusiasts. It’s equipped with the standard 2.0-liter turbo-4 engine, producing 238 horsepower for 2025. This ensures a balance of performance while maintaining the Maverick’s functional appeal without overcomplicating the build.
All-wheel drive is standard, with a twin-clutch rear-drive unit that includes a locking differential to improve rear-wheel torque management, especially in sharp corners. A “Lobo” mode enhances grip and stability, providing a track-inspired driving experience. Orders are open, with deliveries expected in early 2025, priced from $36,850 with destination charges.
The 2025 Maverick lineup sees further updates, including a larger 13.2-inch touchscreen running the latest Sync 4 system. The all-wheel-drive hybrid powertrain is available for an extra $2,200 on XL and XLT trims. The Maverick’s former Tremor off-road package becomes a standalone model, expanding the truck’s appeal alongside the Lobo and other trims.
