Genesis Debuts GV60 Concept with Snow Tracks at 2025 Davos Forum

Genesis showcased its ingenuity at the 2025 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, unveiling a GV60 concept transformed with snow tracks instead of wheels. The bold move highlighted the brand’s innovative approach to reimagining the electric compact crossover as a potential mountain rescue vehicle tailored for ski season emergencies.

Dubbed the Genesis GV60 Mountain Intervention Vehicle (MIV), the concept demonstrates rugged versatility designed for extreme terrain and adverse weather. Its snow tracks, protected by carbon-fiber fender flares, are complemented by a custom roof rack, tailgate rack, medical equipment, a drone, and bidirectional charging to support rescue operations. This marks Genesis’ third consecutive Davos concept, following the X Snow Speedium in 2024 and the X Coupe in 2023.

Although production isn’t planned for the MIV, Genesis continues developing its GV60 lineup. A high-performance GV60 Magma is set to debut later this year, having been spotted in testing. Updates to the GV60 range are also expected for the 2026 model year, including revised styling and an upgraded 84-kWh battery, already available in overseas markets.
