2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V Debuts as the Quickest Cadillac Ever With 615 Horsepower and 3.3 Seconds to 60 for $79,990

Cadillac accelerates into the high-performance EV market with the unveiling of the 2026 Lyriq-V, marking the first time its V-Series badge adorns an electric vehicle. This debut represents a bold step in combining electrification with the brand’s performance pedigree.

Delivering 615 horsepower, this dynamic SUV features V-Mode, upgraded brakes, and a refined design, blending power with sophistication. Starting at $79,990, production kicks off in early 2025 at GM’s Tennessee facility. All-wheel drive from the dual-motor system ensures controlled power delivery.

With 650 lb-ft of torque, it achieves a blistering 0-60 mph time of 3.3 seconds in Velocity Max mode. Adjusted final drive ratios—11.59:1 at the front and 11.63:1 at the rear—sharpen acceleration, outpacing the gas-powered CT5-V Blackwing and offering electrified speed.

A 102.0-kWh battery pack provides an estimated 285 miles of range. Braking confidence is delivered by Brembo six-piston front calipers paired with 15.3-inch discs, while 13.6-inch rotors with single-piston rear calipers handle rear stopping duties effectively.

Driving modes include Competitive Mode for lateral grip optimization and a customizable V-Mode for personalized throttle and steering settings. Adaptive dampers, structural tweaks, and a lower ride height enhance handling, while optional all-season Michelin tires improve winter versatility.

A signature V-Series sound enriches the driving experience, adjustable via MyMode or V-Mode, or completely muted if preferred. Visual enhancements include V badges, redesigned fascias, carbon-fiber elements, 22-inch wheels, and a Magnus Metal Frost exterior option.

Inside, a 33-inch LED display offers unique V-themed updates, and augmented reality enhances the head-up display. Super Cruise, a 23-speaker AKG audio system, and Nappa leather bucket seats with bolsters come standard, merging advanced tech with luxurious comfort.
