2025 Toyota Crown Signia: Hybrid mid-size SUV with two rows

The 2025 debut of the Toyota Crown Signia unveiled a hybrid powertrain, spacious seating for five, and an upscale interior, set for a summer 2024 release in XLE and Limited trims. Propelled by a 2.5-liter inline-4 engine and two electric motor generators, the Crown Signia boasts 243 hp, standard all-wheel drive, and a towing capacity of 2,700 pounds, aiming for an impressive 36-mpg combined rating.

In the U.S., the Crown Signia mirrors the 2022 Estate concept, maintaining the distinctive Crown family design with sleek features, including horizontal daytime running lights, an integrated grille, and a full-width LED taillight. Variations in wheel size distinguish the models, with XLE sporting 18-inch wheels and Limited flaunting 21-inch wheels.

Internally, each Crown hosts a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and user-friendly touchscreen infotainment system. While Limited trims feature Lexus-inspired leather-trimmed quilted seats, XLE models opt for synthetic leather. Positioned against competitors like the Nissan Murano and Hyundai Santa Fe, the Crown Signia incorporates a 60/40 split-folding rear seat for items up to 6.5 feet long.

Prioritizing safety, every Crown Signia integrates features like automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, active lane control, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot monitors. An optional Advanced Technology package enhances safety further with a surround-view camera system, front cross-traffic alerts, and lane-change assist.
