The first retail production 2015 Corvette Z06 sold at auction for $1,000,000, a LOT more than the amount garnered by the sale of the first production-model 2013 SRT Viper GTS ($300,000).
All proceeds from its sale will go to benefit the Karmanos Cancer Institute, one of 41 National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer centers in the country.
The winning bidder, Rick Hendrick, will receive a letter of authenticity, as well as the ability to select the color of his new 2015 Corvette Z06.
