Ford Bronco Silver Lake Dunes Inspired by the Dunes of Lake Michigan for Sunset Drives

A fresh pair of Broncos has emerged inspired by the rolling dunes along Lake Michigan. Dubbed Bronco Silver Lake Dunes, these one-off builds embrace a lakeside summer vibe with sand-ready customization. They aren’t limited editions sold in dealerships. Enthusiasts can replicate much of the setup through the Ford Performance catalog, allowing owners to bring their own lakeside adventure to life.

Bull bars mimic the Bronco Sport Badlands stock setup, while the light bars and Yakima paddleboard racks come directly from Ford’s catalog. The larger Bronco wears four doors and chunky BFGoodrich T/A KO3 tires on black Heritage wheels. Meanwhile, the Bronco Sport rides on Mach-E rally-style wheels paired with lighter tires, producing a sharply styled stance that stands out.

A Maverick could easily benefit from similar treatment. Two-tone sunset-on-the-lake graphics and bespoke badging elevate these builds, though almost any skilled signmaker could recreate something alike. More than an invitation to copy, these Broncos demonstrate the breadth of customization possible and encourage owners to make each ride their own.

Wrangler owners have long explored rugged, quirky, or eccentric mods, from rock sliders and roll cages to unusual grille choices and dashboard oddities. Now Ford fans can join the customization game without straying into Mopar territory. Steering clear of aggressive or frowny-face touches preserves the approachable, friendly character that defines both Bronco sizes.
