Lamborghini has revealed its newest creation, the Fenomeno. Sitting atop the Revuelto’s platform, it carries the most potent V12 ever built by Sant’Agata, supported by hybrid technology and a body that doubles as a “design manifesto.” Classified as a “few-off,” production will be limited to just 29 examples worldwide.
Departing from Lamborghini tradition, the Fenomeno’s name has no ties to Spanish fighting bulls. It first appeared in trademark filings earlier this year, complete with an official logo styled in the brand’s font. While Lamborghini didn’t explain its choice in press materials, the translation of “Fenomeno” to “Phenomenon” in English feels fitting considering the car’s presence.
Power comes from the familiar 6.5-liter naturally aspirated V12 found in the Revuelto, albeit with a revised valvetrain that pushes output to 823 horsepower and 534 pound-feet of torque. That figure crowns it as the strongest V12 in company history. Complementing it are two front-mounted electric motors, each producing 147 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque.
Another motor sits atop the dual-clutch transmission, bringing combined output to an astonishing 1065 horsepower. Construction remains rooted in advanced materials, using the Revuelto’s carbon monocoque and a forged composite front crash structure crafted from resin-infused short fibers. Bodywork is entirely carbon fiber, sculpted with dramatic edges and an unmistakable Lamborghini face.
Design flourishes include Y-shaped accents, an element that recalls the Terzo Millennio concept from 2017. “With the Fenomeno, we are charting a bold and authentic course for our forward-looking design language,” remarked design chief Mitja Borkert. He described it as a refined yet athletic object of design, equal parts futuristic and grounded in heritage.
An array of new aerodynamic solutions shape airflow, from an S-duct channeled through the nose to reworked doors that funnel cool air toward rear intakes styled like oversized NACA ducts, reminiscent of those on the original Countach. Lamborghini describes the Fenomeno as an “elegant spaceship,” blending sharp geometry with purposeful aero efficiency.
Acceleration is nothing short of astonishing, with 0 to 60 mph arriving in just 2.4 seconds and top speed quoted as “over” 217 mph. Control matches speed, thanks to carbon-ceramic brakes influenced by the brand’s LMDh race program, an adjustable suspension, and a 6D sensor suite that monitors motion in all directions to optimize grip and stability—making this the first production Lamborghini with such technology.
Fenomeno extends Lamborghini’s tradition of ultra-rare creations from Centro Stile, a line that began with the Reventón and continued through models like the Sesto Elemento, Veneno, Centenario, Sián, and the revived Countach. CEO Stephan Winkelmann described it as a return to the brand’s most exclusive tier, citing its futuristic design, aerodynamics, and lightweight construction. Pricing is undisclosed, yet anticipation suggests millions, with every build already accounted for.
