Elon Musk announces Tesla Cybertruck delivery event in Q3 2023 after years of anticipation

On Wednesday’s earnings call with investors, Elon Musk revealed that Tesla will host a Cybertruck delivery event in Q3 2023. Although the truck was first announced over three years ago, production of the electric pickup is scheduled to commence this summer, with volume production planned for next year.

During the earnings call, Musk elaborated that the manufacturing process for the Cybertruck is more intricate than that of traditional vehicles, which will cause production ramp-up to take longer. Musk declined to reveal any updated specs when asked, stating that they would only be unveiled during the hand-off event.

Elon Musk expressed his confidence in the upcoming Cybertruck by saying, “It’s an incredible product” and predicting that it will become a “Hall of Famer”.
