Just by looks alone, Ford’s new GT supercar suggests the Detroit automaker does not want to be outdone by European exotic cars in the aesthetic department. The two-seater GT, with its upward-swinging doors, should also hold up performance-wise thanks to the 600-hp EcoBoost V-6 engine that powers it.
A rear-wheel drive, mid-mounted engine and an aerodynamic two-door coupe body made from carbon fiber and aluminum are among the GT’s highlights. Additionally, there is a deployable rear spoiler and the latest connectivity system from Ford, SYNC 3.
