Chevrolet Bolt EV concept live photos: 2015 NAIAS

General Motors finally unveiled the much-anticipated Chevrolet Bolt EV at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The concept, which is expected to reach dealerships across the U.S. and in global markets in 2017 and retail for $30,000, is GM’s answer to Tesla’s upcoming Model 3 in making electric vehicles affordable to more consumers.

The Bolt EV embodies GM’s vision for a future where electric cars are standard and builds upon the Volt and Spark EV. The 200-mile driving range on electric power exceeds both of the other models and GM’s CEO Mary Barra called it “game-changing … designed for attainability, not exclusivity.”
