Earlier today the new 2015 BMW X4 made its world debut at the 2014 New York Auto Show.
A 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine is the power behind the X4 xDrive28i, delivering 240 horsepower and 260 lb.-ft. of torque backed by an 8-speed Steptronic sport automatic transmission. The top-of-line X4 xDrive35i is powered by a 3.0-liter inline six, delivering 300 horsepower and 300 lb.-ft. of torque at 1,200–5,000 rpm.
Those features help the new X4 xDrive35i reach 60 mph from a standstill in an estimated 5.2 seconds. The X4 xDrive28i has a 0 to 60 mph time of six seconds flat.
The 2015 BMW X4 xDrive28i will arrive in the U.S. later this spring with a price tag of $45,625 while the top-of-line X4 xDrive35i will have an MSRP of $48,925 including destination and handling.
