Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse makes Frankfurt debut

Lamborghini has unleashed a beast in Frankfurt with the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse, a road-ready adaptation of the the Gallardo Super Trofeo race car.

The Gallardo Squadra Corse is powered by a 5.2-liter V-10 that generates 562 hp and 398 lb.-ft. of torque. Its body is built from aluminum and carbon fiber parts and weighs about 3000 pounds.

With a 6-speed single-clutch automatic transmission, the Gallardo Squadra Corse sprints 0-62 mph in 3.4 seconds and pushes 0-124 mph in 10.4 seconds, maxing out electronically at 199 mph.

The body paint options for Gallardo Squadra Corse include yellow, white, gray and red. Brake calipers are available in red, black, or yellow.

The Lamborghini Gallardo Squadra Corse sports a different rear wing from other Gallardos and features the Italian flag-inspired green, white, and red decals. Blacked-out hood, diffuser, air intakes, and wheels add yet another unique touch.
