BMW creates concept car for Gran Turismo 6 video game

Apparently, capturing imaginations in the real world isn’t enough for BMW, which wants to have a strong presence in the video gaming one as well. As such, the German automaker has created an exclusive concept car for the upcoming Gran Turismo 6.

BMW designers had “design freedom” in making the virtual car but assure it is based on BMW’s real life racing experience, with superior handling and fingertip control, according to a release.

“Vision Gran Turismo offers an impressively creative platform for the innovative presentation of the BMW Design vision developed exclusively for the game,” Andreas-Christoph Hofmann, Vice President Brand Communication BMW, said.

“We look forward to receiving the feedback of the global community. The BMW Vision Gran Turismo is our way of congratulating Polyphony and Sony on the 15th anniversary of the Gran Turismo franchise.”
