2014 Infiniti Q50 priced from $36,700, available in July

Infiniti has announced the pricing for the 2014 Infiniti Q50 sports sedan, with MSRPs starting in the mid-30s and climbing to nearly $50,000 for the most expensive model. The Q50, which Infiniti is marketing towards “young, premium customers,” will be sold at dealerships early next month, according to a news release.

Even at the starter level, Q50 specs aren’t too shabby. The sports sedan is equipped with either a 3.7-liter V-6 or a 3.5-liter engine in the Hybrid model; either rear-wheel drive or Intelligent All-Wheel Drive are available. The Q50 Hybrid sports one of the fastest accelerating hybrid engines at an impressive 36-mpg highway fuel economy. Upgrades include special sport variants and performance features with sport brakes and sport suspension tuning.

The Q50 has its share of state-of-the-art bells and whistles. In fact, three new technology features make their debut in this Infiniti vehicle. Infiniti Direct Adaptive Steering technology, Active Lane Control and Predictive Forward Collision Warning provide advanced control of the Q50’s tire angle and steering inputs, use a camera-based lane marker detection system and Direct Active Steering system to further enhance lane-keeping capability and improve vehicle straight ability.

Connectivity in the Infiniti Q50 is powered by Infiniti InTuition, “a fully customizable digital environment” that combines various driver settings to their Infiniti Intelligent Key and Infiniti InTouch next-gen smart connectivity with dual touchscreens.
