Buick Avenir concept live photos: 2015 NAIAS

Buick has rolled out the Avenir concept at NAIAS and it is not mincing words: the car’s name literally translates to “future” in French. The sedan has a futuristic flair but carries a vintage Buick touch, a result of collaboration among a global team of the Detroit brand’s designers.

In the exterior, which features LED lighting, the Avenir’s most noticeable feature is the new grille, which, as Buick puts it, gives “a new face on the brand” and is actually “a modern interpretation” of the 1954 Wildcat II concept.
