The Blake Koch Fitness Challenge

NASCAR fanatics who are looking to shed a few pounds, today is your lucky day. NASCAR driver Blake Koch just announced a special new promotion that he is taking part in as brand ambassador for Celsius, the official energy drink partner of Koch’s Nationwide Series team, TriStar Motorsports.

If you haven’t heard of Celsius, it’s the world’s first (or so they claim) negative calorie energy drink. In theory, you drink a Celsius before or during your workout, and it increases the amount of calories that you burn at the gym, on your jog, or whatever else you’re partaking in.

The promotion is a pretty exciting one: Koch, TriStar, and Celsius are asking fans to partake in a fitness challenge, aptly titled the BK Challenge. Fans are encouraged to have one Celsius energy drink per day, and used the #BKChallenge hashtag to boast their progress and fitness results.

That’s all fine and dandy, but here’s the fun part: at the end of the challenge, a winner will be chosen. That winner (and one guest) will get airfare and hotel accommodations, as well as VIP pit-passes to the Nationwide Series championship race on November 15th in Homestead, Florida.

Not a bad deal. And hey, it’s never too late to get started on those New Year’s resolutions, right?
