New Ford Focus ST to make global debut at Goodwood

Today, Ford announced that the new Focus ST will make its global debut at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Ford has sold more than 140,000 ST models globally since it was launched in 2002.

According to the press release, “Ford also is teaming up with Sony Computer Entertainment to stage the first-ever “virtual vs real” race on the Hill. On its first run each day, the new Focus ST will compete in real time against the Focus ST featured in the Gran Turismo 6 game for PlayStation 3.”

A diesel-powered version of the Focust ST will also be displayed on the Ford stand at Goodwood on June 27, so stay tuned for full details.
