Jay Kay purchases Kermit Green LaFerrari

Jay Kay, the front man of the British jazz-funk band Jamiroquai, is starting to build one of the most unique car collections in the celebrity world. A few months ago, Jay Kay praised the LaFerrari, and its 499 planned vehicles. Now, he’s purchased one.

But he didn’t stop there; rather than getting his LaFerrari in a traditional color (rosso corsa, anyone?), he opted for green. Kermit the Frog green, to be specific.

The “green Ferrari trend” seems to be owned by Jay Kay. He also has Vignale one-off of the 300 GT Shooting Brake, in the same color. And the prize in his pony stable? Only the most impressive street Ferrari ever made, the Enzo. His Enzo, however, deviates slightly from his other cars: it’s black, with a Kermit Green interior. Ahhh, what it must be like to have money.

Jamiroquai is often described as “acid jazz”; take one look into Jay Kay’s garage, and you’ll find that the “acid” part fits pretty nicely.
