Fast and Furious 7 film delayed due to Walker’s death

The team behind Fast and Furious 7 have announced that production will proceed despite Walker’s death.

Universal executives and James Wan got together on Sunday morning to discuss the fate of the film, including how to proceed following the sudden death of Paul Walker.

The latest installment in the Fast and Furious franchise was being shot in Atlanta. The crew had been taking a break for the Thanksgiving holiday and…were scheduled to return to Atlanta on Sunday to resume shooting.

According to a studio spokesperson, “All of us at Universal are heartbroken. Paul was truly one of the most beloved and respected members of our studio family for 14 years, and this loss is devastating to us, to everyone involved with the Fast and Furious films, and to countless fans. We send our deepest and most sincere condolences to Paul’s family.”
